The St Helena Tunnel is a twin-tube road tunnel that forms part of the Pacific Highway near Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia. The 434-metre-long (1,424 ft) tunnel under St Helena Hill in the locality of Ewingsdale was built as part of the 17-kilometre (11 mi) Tintenbar to Ewingsdale upgrade.

Time lapse Coverage

The St Helena Tunnel project was a major undertaking, one we were proud to be part of for over three years. Our team captured the full story through time-lapse, drone footage, and video production, documenting key milestones like controlled blasts and concrete pours.

With multiple cameras mounted in and around the tunnel, we faced and overcame the challenges that come with underground work, from low light to harsh conditions, signal issues and limited access. The result was a powerful visual record of progress, precision, and teamwork that highlighted the scale and complexity of a significant infrastructure project.
