SunWater performed preventative maintenance at the Clare Weir on the Burdekin River in late December 2021 in preparation for the impending wet season. The project objective was to place rock protection at the weir toe and construct a water diversion wall to protect the weir from significant river flows in the upcoming wet season.

This project involved travelling up to Townsville to shoot drone and video production during preventative maintenance works at Clare Weir on the Burdekin River. Our aerial footage captured the placement of rock protection and the construction of a water diversion wall. The resulting visuals provided an engaging record of the works, helping SunWater communicate project progress and outcomes with stakeholders and the broader community.
